About the Author
trzndnm is written and maintained by one anonymous author. The anonymity is deliberate — and it means the work has to stand on its sources rather than on a name.
Who is behind this
The author is a long-time Tor user with years of presence in its community and forums, and a professional background in cybersecurity at an IT company. That work involved coding and technically demanding tools — the same skills this site leans on when it reads protocol specifications and checks what signature verification actually proves.
No personal name appears here, and none is needed: the "admin" in this page's address is a route, not a person. Everything checkable on this site is checkable without knowing who wrote it — every specific claim on the TorZon research page names its source, and the verification guide rests on Tor Project and GnuPG documentation you can read yourself.
What the author does — and does not claim
- Does: reads primary documentation and independent reporting, keeps a source ledger for every claim on the site, and corrects errors when they are found.
- Does not claim: private access to TorZon's backend, insider knowledge of its operators, or any ability to guarantee that a market is safe to use.
- Does not offer: legal advice, security consulting, or help accessing any marketplace.
The author is not affiliated with TorZon or any other darknet service and receives no payment, advertising or other benefit from them. What that means for the site's content is explained on the About page.
Reporting an error
If something on this site is wrong — a misread source, a stale fact, a technical error — the fastest fix is an email to trznteamcontact@proton.me. Point to the page, the claim and the source that contradicts it; sourced corrections beat unsigned opinions.
